The 4 cottages are all Cotswold stone having been converted from farm buildings into comfortable weel equipped cottages and retaining much of their original character with exposed beams, stone walls and pillars.
They are furnished to a high standard with fitted carpets, double glazing and full central heating. |
 There is a seperate laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board. There is also a payphone in the laundry room. there are large grassed areas with picnic tables and portable barbecues and ample car parking. The nearest shop and public transport are at Kemble, 2 miles away. Pubs are within walking distance and offering excellent food are the Bakers Arms at Somerford Keynes, ½ mile away, and the Wild Duck at Ewen.

 The river and the nearby lake at Neigh Bridge provide an abundance of wild life where ducks, coots, moorhens, swans, herons and wild geese can be seen in their various seasons.
The cuckoo visits every spring and regular sightings of kingfishers are reported by our guests.

There is a nine hole golf course 3 miles away at Oaksey and 18 hole golf courses at Cirencester and Highworth.
The M4 and M5 motorways are approximately 20 miles away affording easy access to London, Birmingham and Bristol.
There are many famous local gardens including Barnsley, Hidcote and Snowshill Manor. World famous Westonbirt Arboretum Is especially scenic in Spring and Autumn.
Horse racing is at Cheltenham, Newbury, Bath, Stratford and Chepstow. Horse trials Badminton and Gatcombe.
Burford Wildlife park, Wildfowl trust at Slimblidge, rare breeds of birds can be seen at Guiting Power.
Cirencester is an attractive market town with a long history dating back to Roman times. There is a magnificent church in the market place. The Corinium Museum has an impressive collection of Roman artifacts. Park street leads round to Cecily Hill. At the top of the Cecily Hill is the entrance to Cirencester park owned by Earl Bathurst and open to the public for spectacular walks.
