Old Mill Cottages is located on the edge of the Cotswolds making it the ideal centre, combining a quiet secluded base, but, giving easy access to the attractions of the Cotswolds villages. Popular villages to visit include Stow-On-The-Wold, Bourton-On-The-Water, Broadway, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Bibury and Burford. Bath, Bristol, Stonehenge, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Oxford, Cheltenham and Gloucester are also all within easy reach of the holiday lets. Furthermore, London is easily accessed via the M4 motorway or by train (1¼ hours) from Kemble station which is 2 miles away.
There are many attractions in the vicinity including racing at Cheltenham, Polo at Cirencester Park as well as the horse trials at Badminton and Gatcombe. In addition, there is the well known Westonbirt Arboretum, golf courses and fishing. There really is something to please all age ranges and interests.
Cotswold Water Park
The Cotswold Water Park starts within 1 mile of our accommodation and covers a large area. Here you can participate in a wide range of activities including fishing, sailing, wind-surfing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, nature reserves, walking, cycle routes and horse riding. A nine hole golf course is within 3 miles and there is an 18 hole course at Cirencester. Kemble Station, with trains to London (1 ¼ hours) is two miles away.
The Cotswold Water Park is just a 7 minute drive from our holiday lets. The park consists of 150 lakes covering 40 square miles.

Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park
The Cotswold Farm Park is the home of the Rare Breeds Conservation. The farm is a great place to take children to play, ride on the horses, see the animals and learn about the wildlife. Furthermore, there is a great place to grab some lunch and relax with family and friends.

The Arboretum consists of 15,000 specimens and is the perfect place to enjoy some fresh air whilst admiring beautiful surrounds.

The Royal Gardens at Highgrove are part of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall’s private residence. The gardens are open to the public for guided tours on selected dates between April and October every year.
