Once you have arrived, you can either call us or knock at the house immediately at the top of the driveway and we will show you to your cottage.
What time is Check In?
Guests can arrive from 15:00 onwards. Early check-in can be requested, but it is subject to availability, so please ask when booking your stay with us.
What time is Check Out?
Guests must leave by 10:00 on the day of departure. Late departure can be requested, but it is subject to availability, so please ask when booking your stay with us.
Can I Bring my Dog?
Yes, definitely! Well behaved dogs are more than welcome and the best bit is that there is no additional charge!
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, each of our cottages benefits from fibre optic broadband. In fact, there is Wi-Fi coverage across the whole site, meaning you can browse the internet from any of the seating areas or lawns.
How Long is the Minimum Stay?
We currently operate a three-night minimum stay. However, we may be able to make an exception outside of peak times if you contact us prior to booking your stay.
Is There a Shop Nearby?
Yes, there are small village shops in Kemble and Oaksey, which are both around 5 minutes away. If it is a larger shop you are after, there are several Supermarkets in the nearby town of Cirencester (4 miles away) including Tesco, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Aldi, Lidl and a small Morrisons. There is also a small Co-Op and a One-Stop in South Cerney which is slightly closer than Cirencester.
Can we get a Takeaway Delivered?
Yes, you can. There are a few local takeaways that will deliver to us (details listed below). Should you decide to order a takeaway, the postcode you will need is GL7 6ED and the address is ‘Old Mill Farm Holiday Cottages’. Please make sure to specify which cottage you are staying in.

Is there Anything we Should Bring With us?
We provide towels and the kitchens are fully equipped, so the only things you need to bring really are food and drink! If there is anything you are not sure about, please feel free to contact us to check!
Do you Provide High Chairs and Cots?
Yes, we have a travel cot and high chair, but these are subject to availability, so please make us aware if you need them when booking your stay. Alternatively, feel free to bring your own
Is there 24/7 Access?
Yes, you are able to come and go as you please.
What Methods of Payment are Accepted?
We accept all major credit/debit cards via our secure online payement system
How do we Pay?
You can pay online via secure payment on our website. If you are not comfortable with this, please give us a call as we can take card payments over the phone. If preferred, we can also give you our bank details for a BACs transfer.
We ask for a 25% deposit upon booking, with the remaining balance to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of your arrival date, we ask that the full amount is paid upon booking your stay with us.
What is the cancellation & refunds policy?
If for any reason you decide to cancel your stay with us up to 60 days prior to your stay, we will refund all monies paid to us, less a £50 admin fee.
If you cancel between 30 and 60 days prior to your stay, we are not able to offer any refund as standard. However, if we are able to successfully re-let the cottage for the duration of your booking, we will offer a refund. The refund offered will be the lowest value of either the amount you have paid, or the amount we have re-let the cottage for. There will be a £50 admin fee deducted from any refund offered.
If you cancel within 30 days of your stay, regretfully we are unable to offer any refund as standard.
We strongly recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance to cover any financial losses that you may incur as a result of having to cancel your stay with us.
